Creative Science Workshop
age: 8yrs plus
This creative science workshop combines learning about the science and technology behind moving images with the art of drawing. We ran this workshop for Flipside Arts Festival on 8th October 2017 at Snape Maltings in Suffolk.
Children made their own six sided spinning zoetrope from thin card and then drew their own sequential designs to create repetitive animations – we had tottering robots, lightening strikes, a 12 hour clock, phases of the moon, clown faces, growing flowers and grass, four seasons on a tree.
